To find your Kindle model

1. Click the three dots in the corner of your device.
2. Go into your Kindle’s Settings menu. 
3. Navigate to Device Options. 
4. Tap the Device Info option.  
5. The very first item on the list should be your device’s model.

To find your Kobo model

1. From the home screen click the More button on the bottom right of your device.
2. Click Settings.
3. Your Kobo device name will be next to the About section
